Nehemiah faced fierce criticism and internal discouragement while rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls. He responded by praying, reorganizing workers by families, arming them for protection, and leading by example. When opposition comes, remember the Lord, evaluate criticism wisely, take frustrations to God first, and keep taking faithful steps forward despite difficulty.
