Multi-Cultural Ministries

We believe that a culture of love is international, and that it can be translated into any language through open arms and a caring spirit.

We picture a church that is Welcoming to members of every tribe and nation, where corporate Worship embraces people of many cultures and nationalities, a place where those who are seeking God can Grow in a small group of peers, and where people can receive the life-skills training that will allow them to find a place to Serve.

We are privileged to offer the following ministries and opportunities for our Multi-Cultural community:

English as a Second Language
This is a weekly English class offered to all non-English speaking friends in three different levels (Basic, Beginner and Intermediate.)  We also offer a computer lab for self-paced additional training.

Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00 PM. Computer Lab
Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:00 PM. ESL Classes (Contact Omar and Martha Bobadilla)

Conversation Partners:
Meet one-on-one with an ESL student at your own convenience for coffee, prayer, or just to practice English. This is a great opportunity for our ESL students to practice speaking conversational English, and it will be exciting for you to learn more about them! (Contact Penny Cummings)

Translation
We translate our 11:00 a.m. Worship Service into Spanish.

Multi-Cultural Christian Education Classes
These classes are offered to English & ESL Students as an introduction to basic Bible beliefs & the Church of the Nazarene. (Contact Paul Ondera)

Bible Study in Spanish
Families get together in a small group setting to study some of the most important Jesus’ teachings and practical applications to deal with the pressures of everyday life and to grow spiritually.
