At Shepherd Christian School, our purpose is to provide an engaging and challenging course of study with Biblical emphasis for pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. SCS will allow your child opportunities to grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually through immersion with dedicated teachers and current curriculum in an accepting, Christian environment.

From even our youngest 3 year-olds at Little Lambs Children's Center, to our graduating 5th graders at Shepherd Christian, our goal is to provide our students with a proper spiritual framework in which to understand the world. That is why we provide spiritual guidance and Bible-based instruction both in and out of the classroom. All of our instructors and administrative staff are dedicated to exemplifying Christian living each day, in every interaction with our students. By allowing Christ to guide our hands and inform our teaching, the minds of our students are enriched by more than just the worldly knowledge.

For our school, academics are paramount -- and it shows. Our students routinely score one full grade-level higher than average on national standardized tests. This is because we recognize that, in order for a student to take a leadership role in the vocation of their calling, they must be intellectually prepared for the task.

Our curriculum focuses on the basics. In order for a student to succeed, they must succeed in their grammar and mathematics courses. And while we expect our students to work hard, we don't expect them to work alone. Our staff of talented, certified instructors nurture and guide the students through the process of learning. And because we maintain a low eighteen-to-one student-to-teacher ratio, each student is able to receive the individualized attention that they need to succeed.
