At Shepherd, we are striving to make sure that we have safe and secure environments for our children and teenagers.  As a part of that important endeavor, we have instated a policy that requires all volunteers who work with minors to undergo a national background check and driving record check (to confirm identity and to clear drivers who transport minors). 

The background check procedure is a part of the policy as a whole.  Look through the pages of the policy to specifically see our process.  Please feel free to contact us with any of your questions and concerns.  We understand that in this day and age, volunteers providing us with the information needed to do the background check is sensitive. We respect the privacy of our volunteers… Please know that all forms are kept secure in a locked file cabinet and access to them is limited to one pastor and one layperson.
